The Sherburn Medical Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a team of volunteer patients working alongside practice staff to improve services and strengthen the link between the surgery and the community.

We are keen to welcome new members to the PPG. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to spare, your views and ideas can make a real difference. - 💙 Supporting Equipment Through Fundraising
We explored options such as GoFundMe campaigns to raise money for additional equipment that could enhance patient care. - 📲 Boosting Social Media Presence
The group discussed how social media could be used more effectively to share updates, promote health information, and highlight services at the practice. - 🎓 Working with Local Schools
We are exploring opportunities to visit schools to promote the NHS App and help young adults understand how to use local services effectively. By building confidence early, we can encourage good self-care and positive engagement with healthcare. - 🌸 Making the Surgery More Welcoming
A lovely idea was raised about planting flowers around the surgery to make it brighter and more inviting for patients and staff alike.
